If your Facebook listing posts suddenly vanished, you’re not imagining it. Over the weekend, thousands of real estate agents across the country saw their posts disappear — often without warning.

The common thread? Facebook is deleting real estate posts that include MLS or IDX links, flagging them as low quality.

😩 What Happened?

  • Facebook’s spam filters started flagging those links as “low quality” and removing them in bulk.

  • It’s part of a broader push to reduce repetitive or overly promotional content in the feed.

  • It’s not personal — but we know it feels that way when you’re just trying to promote a listing and serve your client well.

✅ How To Fix Facebook Deleting Real Estate Posts

1. Skip raw MLS/IDX links These are the most likely to get flagged or deleted.

2. Use a landing page A simple, clean property website works great — and if you’re a Rae Allen Media client, you already receive one with every shoot.

3. Try branded short links They look more professional and are less likely to trigger spam filters.

4. Post natively Upload your photos or video directly to Facebook, then add a clear call-to-action like:“📬 Message me for details!”

5. Avoid mass-posting to groups Sharing to 20+ groups at once can get your post flagged, even without a link.

6. Appeal flagged posts (if needed) Sometimes Facebook will reinstate them — it’s worth trying.

7. Keep your sellers informed Let them know this is a platform change, and that you’ve already adapted your marketing strategy to keep their listing visible.

💡 The Bottom Line

Facebook’s algorithm may be changing, but your listing strategy doesn’t have to suffer.

A few small tweaks can help you stay compliant, stand out, and continue showing up in the feed.
