  • How should I help my seller prepare for the photoshoot (or Open House)?
    We've got you covered! We understand the importance of having a property in its best light for a photoshoot or open house. That's why we build in 5-10 minutes at the beginning of each appointment to assist with last-minute preparations and ensure the house is photo-ready. Our team is more than happy to help with small touches like putting down toilet lids and turning on the lights. However, it's essential to note that the overall condition of the house will be captured as-is. To assist you and your sellers in making sure the property looks its absolute best, we've created a downloadable photo shoot prep list. Sharing this with your sellers can ensure that the property is in tip-top shape when we arrive.   • How long do you keep my photos?
    We understand the importance of keeping your photographs safe and accessible. That's why we keep all of our photos for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. This allows you to access and download your photographs at any time during that period. However, please note that after 90 days, we may delete the photographs to free up space for new projects. If you need to access your photographs after this time, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Do you offer weekend photoshoots?
    We understand that your schedule is important and that's why we offer weekend photoshoots when we have availability. Just let us know what day works best for you and we'll do our best to accommodate. Keep in mind that if your photoshoot takes place on a Saturday or Sunday, you can expect your photos to be delivered on Monday. To ensure that your property looks its best, we recommend blocking off the area in front of the property with a vehicle that can be moved, if possible, as there may be more cars parked on the street on weekends which can block the view of the front of the house.

  • Do you hold a FAA Part 107 drone license for aerial photography?
    Absolutely! At Rae Allen Media, we are proud to be a Certified FAA Part 107 pilot, ensuring top-notch aerial photography for your real estate listings. It's important to know that commercial drone usage requires a licensed pilot by the FAA. We adhere strictly to FAA regulations, and always ensure compliance with drone usage restrictions. This guarantees that our drone photography services are not only high-quality but also fully compliant with all legal requirements.
  • How do I download my images?
    When the photos are ready, you'll receive an email notification. In that email, you'll find a link to the Download Center for the listing. This is where all the content, including images, videos, 3D Tours, and property websites, is stored. To download everything at once, simply click the "Download" button at the top right corner of the screen. A pop-up menu will appear, allowing you to select the content you want. All the content will be downloaded as a zip file to your computer, usually in your default download folder. To access it, unzip the file and open the created folder. For Property Websites, if you only want the website link, click on the "Property Websites" section in the header image. From there, you can easily copy the branded or unbranded website links for sharing on social media or elsewhere. It's that simple! Click here to get more information (with screen shots).
  • Do you include Property Websites?
    At Rae Allen Media, we understand the importance of showcasing a property in the best light possible. That's why we include a complimentary property website with every photoshoot. This website allows you to easily edit the photos, property description, and other important details to give potential buyers a comprehensive look at the property. The website is customizable, branded and unbranded, so you can easily share the link via email or social media to market the property. As a reminder, these property websites will be deleted after 90 days, but if you would like to keep the website active, please let us know and we will be happy to extend the hosting.   • What is your billing and Payment procedure?
    We understand that our clients want to be completely satisfied with the final product before making a payment. That's why we allow payments upon completion and approval of all projects. For your convenience, we use Aryeo for photo delivery and Stripe as our payment processor for credit/debit card transactions. We want to assure you that we take the security of your payment information very seriously, and that's why we don't store any credit card numbers or expiration dates. If you would prefer to pay using other methods such as cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
  • Can you upload photos to my MLS listing?
    As a certified CRMLS photographer, we are pleased to offer the service of uploading the photographs to your MLS listing at no extra charge, pending our schedule. If this is a service you would like to utilize, please let us know and we will do our best to work with your schedule.   • What are your turnaround times?
    Answer: We're all about speed and quality! Here are our standard turnaround times: Photos & Drone Photos: Ready in just 24 hours. Floor plans & 3D Tours: Delivered within 24-36 hours. Video: Completed within 48 hours. If your shoot is on a Friday or Saturday, expect delivery on the following Monday. We're here to make your real estate journey efficient and top-notch!
  • What if a room is very dark?
    We understand that every property is unique and that lighting can sometimes be a challenge, but don't worry! Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures that we can capture stunning images that are properly exposed, even in dimly lit or dark rooms. We're dedicated to making sure your property looks its best in every photo!
  • What areas to you serve?
    We are based in the beautiful city of Corona, CA and are delighted to offer our services to the surrounding areas. We generally service cities within a 30-mile radius, including the eastern regions of Los Angeles County, Northern Orange County, West Riverside County, and West San Bernardino County.   • What is the best time of day for shooting my property?
    We do our best to make sure your property looks amazing, but outside lighting can play a big role in how the exterior photos turn out. If you have a preference for when the front exterior of your home is lit, we'll do our best to accommodate your request. For example, if your home faces east, we suggest a morning shoot, and if it faces west, an afternoon shoot. Additionally, if your property has ocean views, scheduling the shoot in the morning will give us the best chance to capture those views without shooting into the sun. Let us know if you have any specific requests and we'll do our best to make it happen!
  • Do I need to be present at the photo shoot?
    We understand that it can be difficult to coordinate access to the property, so we offer a few different options to make it as easy as possible for you. You can either provide us with access through the homeowner/tenant, or you can provide us with a lockbox code so that our team can gain entry, complete the photoshoot, and secure the property before leaving. Whichever option is most convenient for you, we're here to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

  • How long do you keep my Matterport 3D tours?
    Matterport 3D tours remain “active” and viewable until the property closes escrow or 90 days from our original scans, whichever comes first. We also suggest that you keep in touch with us regarding the status of your property and inform us if the property needs more time, so we can make arrangements to extend the hosting of your 3D tour at a small additional fee. We understand that your property is important to you, and we'll do our best to help you.
  • Does having professional photography matter when marketing my property?
    Professional photography is an essential aspect of marketing a property. With the majority of homebuyers searching for properties online, high-quality, well-lit photographs can make a listing stand out and help increase visibility.   • Who owns the photos and videos? (Copyright info)
    At Rae Allen Media, we take pride in the photographs and additional content we create. We hold the copyright for all of our work, and by purchasing a license from us, you're granted the right to use these photos for the sole purpose of marketing the current sale of the property. Please note that once the listing agreement expires or is terminated, the photos may not be used by another broker or agent.   • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
    We understand that things can come up unexpectedly, so if you need to reschedule or cancel your photoshoot, please let us know as soon as you can. To ensure that we can make the necessary adjustments to our schedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice before rescheduling.
  • What is HDR (High Dynamic Range)?
    HDR allows for a greater range of brightness and color to be captured in an image, resulting in a more realistic and true-to-life final product, with more details in highlights and shadows.
  • What happens if the weather isn't great on the day of my photoshoot?
    In sunny Southern California, bad weather is rare, but we've got you covered even on those occasional cloudy days! We offer our "blue sky guarantee," which means we'll digitally enhance the sky to a beautiful blue hue at no extra cost. Your property's photos will always look their best, no matter the weather. However, we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. If inclement weather strikes on your scheduled day, don't worry! We're here to accommodate you. We'll do our best to reschedule for the next available date that works for you. Your satisfaction and your property looking its finest in the photos are our top priorities. Please keep in mind that for the safety of our equipment and in compliance with regulations, we may not be able to shoot in extreme weather conditions like high winds, heavy rain, or restricted airspace. But rest assured, we'll work closely with you to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
  • How will I receive my order?
    We're excited to let you know that once your photoshoot is finished, you'll receive an email with a special link to access your very own Client Portal. All you'll need is a username and password to log in, and you'll be able to take a look at your photos, pay for them and download them. Don't worry if you need any help accessing the portal or finding your way around, just let us know and we'll be more than happy to guide you through the process.   • How long does a photoshoot take?
    We understand that every property is unique and the time needed for the photoshoot may vary. On average, a standard 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home takes about an hour to complete the photoshoot. However, please keep in mind that additional time may be needed for larger properties, if extra services like aerial photography, floor plans, or 3D tours are requested, or if the property is not fully prepared for the photoshoot. Rest assured, our team will work efficiently to capture beautiful and professional-looking photos of your property.
  • Can you edit out clutter or other objects?
    We understand that sometimes clutter or unwanted items can be present during a photoshoot. While we strongly recommend tidying up and removing any such items before our team arrives, we also offer a convenient solution.
